Jr. & Reba Garland of Tallassee, Richard & Debbie Garland of Maryville; daughters & sons in law, Rebecca & Michael Burns of Rockford, Joan & Gary Ledbetter of Tallassee; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Marsh, Alfred, Harold, Tommy, Will, Keith, & Pete Whitehead all of Maryville, James Whitehead of Ga.; sisters Dolly Whitehead of Knoxville, Grace Simmons of Maryville, and Selma Hall of Monroe County; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 3 p.m. Sun. Jan. 14, 2001 at Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Whitehead, Rev. Alfred Whitehead & Rev. Will Whitehead officiating.
