Carolyn LeMay Dye, age 73, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 1, 2008. She was a member of Second United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by father, Ray LeMay, mother Mabel Fielden, Step-father, William Fielden, sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Sammie Wilson. Survived by loving husband of 57 years, Bill Dye. Left to mourn her passing son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Mary Ellen Dye, daughter and son-in-law, Beth and John Smith; Five grandchildren: Sarah Dye, Lauren and husband Sammy Wilson, Tracy and fiance Danny Milas, Mitch Smith, Kaci Smith; One great-grandson, Brady Milas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Ralph Jackson, Shirley and Bob Carter; brother, Steve Fielden; aunt, Elizabeth Lee; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday August 3, 2008 from 5-7pm. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm in the Valley View Chapel of Highland South Funeral Home. Officiating Rev. William Stooksbury and Rev. M.C. Taylor. The family will gather Monday August 4, 2008 at 11:00am Highland South Memorial Park for the interment service. In Lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to 2nd United Methodist Church 1524 Western Ave Knoxville, TN 37921. Friends may sign Mrs. Dye's guest book online at www.highlandmemorialparks.com.
