DYE, WILLIAM BRANSON - age 80 of Knoxville, passed away August 1, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a retired Knoxville News Sentinel photographer, member of Second United Methodist Church and Home Builders Sunday School Class. Preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Lemay Dye, love of his life; parents E.G. and Bertha Dye. Left to cherish his memory and carry on his laughter: son, Rick and Mary Ellen Dye; daughter Beth and John Smith; grandchildren Sarah Dye, Lauren and husband Sammy Wilson, Tracy Dye and fiancé Danny Milas, Mitch Smith and Kaci Smith; great grandson, Brady Milas; and sister, Dean Townsend of Atlanta GA; sister and brother-in-laws, Betty and Ralph Jackson, Shirley and Bob Carter; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins in Kodak, and the breakfast guys at Krystal. He loved us and we knew it. We loved him and he knew it. Visitation services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Park Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. M.C. Taylor and Rev. Jim Bailes officiating. Interment services will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland South Memorial Park.
