GARNER, PEARL WATSON - age 91, widow of Robert Lee Garner, of Athens, formerly of Madisonville, passed away 12:15 A.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville. Member and past Worthy Matron of Madisonville O.E.S. #426. Survivors, son & daughter-in-law, Jack & Patty Garner; granddaughter, Amber Garner, all of Athens; grandson & spouse, Gant & Jennifer Garner, Woodstock, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nathan Garner; nieces, Myrna W. Sharpe, Huntsville, Ala., Sassy Blackwell, Johnson City; nephews, Kennard Watson, Madisonville, Sam Watson, Nashville, Robert Lee Garner, Shelbyville, Bill Garner, S.C.; sister-in-law, Lena C. Watson, Madisonville; brother-in-law, George Garner, Jellico, Preceded in death by parents, Sam A. & Annie Gibson Watson; sister, Flossie Watson; brothers, Ross & Bryant Watson; niece, Patty Whitehead; cousin, Betty Jo Gibson.
