Michael John (Mikey) Holder, age 35, of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at UT Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident on July 10, 2009, in Madisonville. He was born Feb. 28, 1974, in Blount County, a graduate of William Blount High School and currently laid off from Boatmate Trailer. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Scott and Alice Lusby, Jackie Holder, Renee and Jr Franklin; and his uncle, Jackie Holder. He leaves behind, son, Lucas; and daughter, Karley Holder; mother, Cathy Lusby; father, Jerry Holder; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Rich Hankins; grandfather, H.F. Holder; stepmother, Linda Holder; and stepdad, Dale Robinson; nephews, Kain and Gage Hankins; stepbrother, John Bridgeman and wife Diana; stepsister, Angela Rigsby and husband Dave; former wife and mother of his two children, Misty Geiger; several aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends. His cremation is being handled by Berry Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of his life at his father's home at 7245 Russell Hollow Road, Maryville, TN 37801, between the hours of 4-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Please bring pictures and a covered dish. Mikey loved getting together with friends and family and never met a stranger. In lieu of flowers, donations for his children and expenses will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the nurses in the surgical critical care unit for doing all they could and to Berry Funeral Home.
