She was a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church and a teacher's aide at LaFollette Middle School for many years. Preceded in death by husband, Bill Higginbotham and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: daughters, Anna Higginbotham, Atlanta, GA; Linda & husband Ron Ridenour, Knoxville; son, Bill Higginbotham, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Brian Wismer, Kara Ridenour, Billy Higginbotham, Amy Ridenour Shepherd, Andrea Higginbotham Russell; great grandchildren, Hayden, Hudson, Tate, Reese, Willow Veta; brother, Wayne Wimberly, Ocoee, TN; sister, Edith Schaper, FL; several nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and then proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 2:30 PM Graveside Services & Interment.
