Turner, 92, passed away Friday morning at the Mariner Health Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was of the Church of God faith. She is survived by one son, Ailor P. Turner, and his wife, Imogene, of Newport; grandchildren, Brian Turner of Newport and Scott Turner of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was 8 p.m. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ball officiating. The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be 10 a.m. Sunday at the Freshour Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge. [S87] Death Certificate.
