Ted Marvin Ellison, age 76, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009. Ted attended South Holston Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Ted retired from Yale Security Company as a Quality Control Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Maggie Ellison; first wife, Mary Frances (Fritzi) Ellison; brothers: Charles, Leon and Roy Ellison and his step grandson, Freddie Henry. Ted is survived by his wife, Lillie Seay Ellison; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Clevenger; grandsons, Travis and Dustin Hamilton; great grandchildren, Shayna, Devin, Savannah and Austin Hamilton; stepson, Jerry Seay; step grandchild, Angie Tallent; step great grandson, Chace Tallent; stepmom, Ethel Ellison of Newport; sisters: Effie Marion, Betty Lou (Gary) Wills, Edith (Dennis) Greenawald, Shirley (Luther) Willis, Francis Ensley, Hope (Frank) McLain, Irene Williams, Imogene (Ailor) Turner along with many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with Funeral Services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Palmer officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Wednesday morning and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. with full military honors conferred by the Loudon County Veteran's Honor Guard. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Amedisys Health Care for the care and support they have given.
