(September 28, 1920 - March 26, 2008) Dora McGaha, age 87, of Dandridge, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Cocke County Baptist Convalescent. She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church were she had served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Restel McGaha; son, Sanford McGaha; sisters, Inez Thomas, Flora Miller and Cynthia Miller; and brother, Mack Davis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and James Rolen; grandchildren, Jason Rolen and wife Paula and Sherry Rolen; great grandchildren, Ethan Rolen and Amber Ivey; sister, Vola McGaha; brother-in-law, Blaine Thomas, all of Chestnut Hill; also many beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Friday, March 28, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Colbert officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 29, 2008 in the English Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
