Barbara J. Brown, age 70, of Marietta, Ga., passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Ga. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Ga. Mrs. Brown was born in Maryville, and was formerly employed with Walton Communities. Survivors include her husband, James G. Brown of Marietta; daughters, Jama Brown Heckler and husband Jerry, and Nikki Brown Cargal; brothers, Rev. Kenneth Holder and wife Alta, and Bill Holder and wife Sharon; grandsons, Noah Sims and Bryce Cargal; and nieces and nephews, Pam Holder Ford, Susan Holder Johnson, Tammy Holder Simpson and Darren Holder.
