Frances Baiamonte Hoffman, a homemaker, died on Thursday, September 9, 2004 of cancer at the age of 67 years. She was born in Amite, LA and resided in Metairie, LA for the past 43 years. She was the beloved wife of George Joseph Hoffman, Sr. Mother of Sandra Hollis, George J. Hoffman, Jr., Donna Pellerin, and Ryan Hoffman. Mother-in-law of Terry Hollis and Spellman Pellerin, Jr. Grandmother of Drew Hollis, Victoria, Angelle, and Spellman Pellerin, III, and Delaney Hoffman. Daughter of the late Santo and Sannie Calderone Baiamonte. Step daughter of Josephine Baiamonte. Sister of Vincent and Santo Baiamonte, Jr., Dominica Luparello, Josephine Mott-Williams, Michael Baiamonte and Theresa Pulling. Sister-in-law of Diane, Raymond and Angela Hoffman, Nancy Baiamonte, Deborah Baiamonte, Lester Luparello, Jr., George Williams, Sr., Gail Baiamonte, Scott Pulling and the late Ronald Angelo. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a former employee of Pan American Life. She was a graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School in New Orleans. Mrs. Hoffman was a member of Clearview Lions Club and the Civil Air Patrol.
Relatives, friends of the family and employees of Melco Steel Co., A & P Grocery, Amcor Mortgage Co., General Fiber Communications, and Medical Products of America; the Satellite Center, Inc., Clearview Lions Club and Pan American Life Insurance Co. are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA, on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation at Leitz-Eagan will be on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 13, 2004 at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw, LA at 12:30 p.m. Visitation at the church will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery, Tickfaw, LA.
