Danzel “Bus” Austin, age 88, of Newport, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. He was a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church. He always lived his life by the Golden Rule. He always put others and their needs before his own. To know him was to love him. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline. They will be reunited and have a Homecoming in Heaven. He leaves behind to cherish his memory children, Glenn, Carroll ( wife Marilyn), Carolyn, Molly ( husband Randy Sawyer), Emma, Mary ( husband Willard Taylor), grandchildren Melissa Grooms, Terry Hartsell, Danny Fine, Amanda Ellison, great-grandchildren Ashlee Grooms, Logan and Austin Fine, Tristian Ellison, Terra Brooke Hartsell, also his brother J L Austin, special friends Danese Ball, Mike Rowland and caregiver Diana Brown. Funeral services 7 p.m. Wednesday January 27, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with burial 11 am Thursday in Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-7 Wednesday before the services.
