Stella Clevenger, age 79, of Newport, died March 21, 2001, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Clevenger, and parents, James Robert and Martha Ann Hartsell.
She is survived by her sons, Harley Clevenger, of Charlotte, NC, and Wayne Clevenger, of Westfield, NJ; daughter, Linda Visser, of Melbourne, Australia; sisters, Lorene Price and Dolly Large, both of Newport; five grandchildren, Patrick Clevenger, Lisa Carver, Holly Trenner, Kristi Clevenger, and Heather Clevenger; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 8 p.m., Saturday, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Billy Ball officiating, with burial at 1 p.m., Sunday, in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home.
