RENFRO, RALPH L. - age 81, of Blaine, passed away at his home Monday September 3, 2001, after fighting cancer for over a year. He was born August 27, 1920 and a member of Red House Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII. Mr. Renfro is preceded in death by his parents; A.L. (Leff) and Louella Renfro; 1 brother and 3 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mattie, and sons, Xan & Georgia Renfro, and Jack & Judy Renfro; grandchildren, Diane & Dwayne Brabson, Donna Ward, Deon & Wayne Cabbage, & Todd and Sherry Renfro; great-grandchildren; Kendal & Konner Brabson, Maggie Ward, Trey Cabbage & Lacey Renfro; brothers & sisters-in-law, JV & Roma Renfro, A.L. & Lockie Renfro, Wayne & Ruth Renfro; sisters, Susan Nance & Gola Fennell and sister-in-law Pearl Renfro; several nieces & nephews. 4 special little friends: Bo & Stacey Blanken and Jake and Jed Corum. Serving as Pallbearers are: Todd Renfro, Terry Phillips, Bob Renfro, Jim Renfro, Doyal Wade, Rick Blanken, Cale Cameron and Wayne Cabbage. Service will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at 8 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary White and Brother Wayne Cabbage officiating. He will be laid to rest Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Red House Cemetery beside his parents on the hill above his home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge.
