Corne, Varnella, age 68 of Corryton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Halls. Varnella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Varnella was preceded by her parents. She is survived by husband of 52 years, Doug Corne; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Hembree; son, Dougie Corne; granddaughter, Abby Reynolds; great grandchildren, Cadence Boyd, Maliki Kee, Chase-Lyne Reynolds, Bree-Lynn Reynolds; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Clarence Nelson, and numerous special friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM at Berry Funeral Home. Service will follow at 7PM at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 AM interment. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
