Brenden James Frye, son of James D. and Mitzi Frye Jr., died October 11 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Hunter Frye; twin brother, Brandon Jacob Frye; and great-grandfather, Ellis Jenkins. Other survivors are his brother, James D. Frye III; grandparents, Robert and Vicky Hall and James D. and Karen Frye Sr., all of Newport; and great-grandmothers, Eula Jenkins of Newport and Ernistine DeRossett of Tampa, Florida. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Manes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ransom Hall officiating. Interment will be in Dutch Bottom Cemetery. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
