PELLETIER, FERNAND B. - age 80, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday morning, April 17, 2002. He was born in Eagle Lake, Maine, on September 27, 1921. Fernand served this country proudly in World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Rose Pelletier; sisters, Angie Blair, Evangeline Ferland, Gloria Eddy, and Donalda Good; brothers, Claude and Reginald Pelletier. Survived by wife, Billie R. Pelletier; son, David Pelletier and wife, Carol; step daughters, Jacqueline Carr and Susan Jordan and husband, Rick; step sons, Joel Hood and wife, Pam and Roger Hood and wife, Roxanna; five brothers, Louis, Pat, Leon, Richard, and Edmond Pelletier of Maine; sister, Lauraine Dakin of Maine; grandchildren, Candice and Zach Carr, Amanda and Matthew Davis, MacKenzy Jordon, Corey and Keira Pelletier, and Nicholas Hood, and several nieces and nephews. Special doctors, Dr. Ronald Murph and Dr. Charles Robinson. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Friday in Stevens Chapel, Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers: Zach Carr, Nicholas Hood, Corey Pelletier, Timmy Thompson, Tony Thompson, and Rick Thompson. Honorary pallbearer: Matthew David. Full military honors will be presented by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
