Sarah Jane Jones of Louisville passed away June 6, 2009, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities. Preceded in death by father, David Gillette, Sr; mother, Helen Harris Gillette; two brothers, Guy Oliver, Sr. and Billy William Scruggs; and nephew, Guy Olver Scruggs, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Elmer Jones; two brothers, William and David (Joey) Gillette; seven aunts, Merle Sue Fulton, Elizabeth, Thelma, Jaunnita, Eliza, Eula and Mary Harris; five nieces, Lisa (John) Madden, Lee Ann, and Angie Gillette, Brittney (Matthew) Walton, Hannah Gillette; five great-nieces; one great-nephew and a host of other relatives and friends to include her church family. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2009, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Foothills Funeral Home Chapel with funeral to follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Jerry A. Harris officiating.
