Ellison, age 64, of Cosby, born October 28, 1935, died Friday, June 9, at the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee, following a lengthy illness. He was raised in the Del Rio community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Lunsford Ellison; and parents, Mr. And Mrs. Homer Ellison, of Del Rio. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Donna Ellison, of Newport and Scottie and Kim Ellison, of Newport; son, Ricky Ellison and daughter, Terri Ellison, both of Cosby; special granddaughters, Jaime Ellison, of Cosby, Gabbi Ellison, of Newport, and Julie Rathbone, of Cosby; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Brenda Ellison; brother, Don Ellison; sisters, Annalene Gray, Julie Lane, and Essie Gentry; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Jimmy Green, all of Newport; mother-in-law, Arlena Streblo, of Cosby; special friends, Elsie Henderson and Roger Gentry; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Hal Kirk officiating, with burial in the Gray Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Manes Funeral Home.
