Y. J. Parton age 64 of Hot Springs, NC passed away at his home on Friday September 6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Parton and Bartley Parton, brothers Lawrence and Billy Jack Parton, sister Lucille Woody. He is survived by the mother of his children Patsy Parton, son and daughter-in-law Travis and Brittany Parton, daughter Matilda Parton, grandchildren Bethany,and Letty Parton, brother Junior Parton, sisters Pauline McClure, Janice Pierce, Reva Dean Parton, Bobby Ann Tathbone, and Rebecca Parton. Memorial service will be 7 p. m. Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Woods officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. prior to the service. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Parton family
