Emedine Myers Hawk, 86, of North Highway 340, Parrottsville, TN, passed away Monday morning, March 8, 2004, at the home of her daughter, Jeanette Nease.
She was a retired farmer and homemaker. She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
She was the widow of Alfred Hawk.
In addition to her daughter, with whom she made her home, she is survived by one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Kent and Sharon Nease, of Parrottsville; three great-grandsons, Keary Nease, Evan Nease, and Gregory Nease; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Myers and Hazel Hawk, both of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late C.J. and Bertie Bowers Myers. Preceded in death by two brothers, Lester Myers and Lloyd Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kathleen Yates officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body will remain at Kiser Funeral Home until time to be taken to the church 30 minutes preceding the services.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Funeral Home.
