Joe Queen, a resident of McMinn Memorial Nursing Home, formerly of 155 John Kirkland Rd., Tellico Plains, passed away 7:15 a.m. Monday, February 8, 1999, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. Member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Allowayne and Jim Eller, Brenda and Kenneth Rogers; granddaughter, Angie Isbill, Leann Rogers; step-grandsons, Larry and Mickey Eller, all of Tellico Plains, Greg Eller, Dalton, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Roxie Queen, Tellico Plains, Rena Freeman, Englewood; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister, Alma Kirkland; brothers, Lee and John Young. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, Unicoi Baptist Church, Rev. Beecher Miller, Rev. Michael Prock officiating.
