Huffstetler recognized by U.S. Academy
The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Megan Huffstetler, of Maryville, has been recognized for academic achievement as a United States National Honor Student Award winner.
Huffstetler, who graduated from William Blount High School, will appear in the United States Achievement Academy's official yearbook which is published nationally.
She is the daughter of Doyle and Kim Huffstetler, of Maryville and the granddaughter of Sam Dunn, of Maryville and the late Colleen Dunn, and the late Cecil and Martha Huffstetler.
She will be attending Maryville College in the fall.

Thibert - Huffstetler Wedding
Megan Kimber Huffstetler, daughter of Doyle and Kim Huffstetler of Maryville, was united in marriage with Dustin Ryan Thibert, son of Brian and Mistie Thibert of Maryville, May 12 at Colonial Estates in Maryville. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jerry Russell.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Sam and Colleen Dunn and the late Cecil and Martha Huffstetler. Honorary grandfather of the bride is Charlie Taylor, of Maryville. Grandmother of the bridegroom is Delores Thibert, of Garden Grove, Calif.
Heather Lovingood served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine Connor and Stephanie Vance. Alison Lovingood kept the bride’s book.
Tyler Thibert, of Maryville, was best man. Groomsman was Brandon Thibert, of Maryville.
The bride’s parents hosted a reception at Colonial Estates in Maryville.
