DAVIS, ROBERT LYNN "BRETT", JR. - age 41 of Knoxville was promoted to glory on November 1, 2010 at his home. Preceded in death by his father Robert Lynn Davis, Sr. Survived by wife of 23 years, Sandra Miller Davis; son, William "Billy" Davis and wife, Nicole; daughter, Kailea Davis, and son, Robert "Trey" Lynn Davis, III, all of Knoxville; brother, Mark Davis; sisters Brittany Davis, Jessica Hubbard and husband Ryan, and Sarah Davis; parents, David and Elizabeth Jean Byrd; and step-mother, Nancy Kravitz Davis; several nieces and nephews; childhood friend, Rob Parker. He was a father figure to Dustin Wilcox and Thomas Smith. He was very active in the Salvation Army Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 409 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 - 7:00 P.M. at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with services to follow with Chaplain David Trempe officiating. Family and friends will leave Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel at 1:15 P.M. Sunday and proceed to Clapp's Chapel Cemetery in Corryton for Graveside Services at 2:00 P.M.
