KING, AMOS D. - age 76 of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 at Mercy Residential Hospice. Mr. King served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Victory Baptist Church on Westland Dr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Verna Woodby King, by brothers, Buddy and Clyde King, and sister, Bobbie Hilton. He is survived by son, A.C. King and wife Gena, and daughter Teresa Allison; by grandchildren Lori and Adam King and Christy and Tina Allison; by four great-grandchildren; by sisters, Doris Branum, Charlotte Tobler, Mary King and Brenda Neal; by aunt, Louise Woodby; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
