He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rhoda Lucille Fowler and his sister Loretta Hawkins. He is survived by his spouse Lora Nadine Fowler; sons Dennis Fowler, Gary Fowler, Richard Fowler (April), Tracy Fowler (Terri Schultz Fowler), Dean Fowler, and Donald Fowler; grandchildren Marissa, Danielle, Laura, Wesley, Allison, Donald, and Missy Fowler; brothers Robert (Sarah) Fowler, Albert Fowler, Allen Fowler (Sandra), Glen Fowler (Dianne), and Joe Jr. Fowler (Connie); sisters Evelyn Brockwell, Woneta Hodge (John), Deanna Duffy (Brian), and Rita Respertt (Warren); several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Joseph's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
