Hospital, following a motorcycle accident. He was a member of the Grassy Fork Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife: Angela Stephenson Barnett of Newport; parents, Ray and Aurine Barnett of Del Rio; a sister, Linda Barnett of Del Rio; brothers and sister-in-law, Lynn and Yvonne Barnett of Newport and John David Barnett of Del Rio; grandmother, Doris Green of Del Rio; uncles and aunts, Henry Wilson, George and Alene Green, Kenneth and Alma Green, Dale Green, Johnny Green, and Jim and Wilma Barnett, all of Del Rio, and Ronnie Barnett of White Pine; aunts and uncles, Jearldine Green, Brenda and J.D. Wilburn, JoAnn and Troy Wilburn, and Betty and Mike Jones, all of Del Rio, Judy Cureton of Parrottsville, and Mary Heard of Maryland; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Bill ProfÞtt and Dennis Colwell, both of Gatlinburg. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Brown Funeral Chapel with Evangelist Olie Williamson ofÞciating. Interment will be in the Laws-Green Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at the Brown Funeral Home. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
