(December 11, 1948 - January 29, 2015) Linda Staton Gray, age 66, of Newport, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt E. Staton; and brother, Jeffery W. Staton. She is survived by her mother, Jennie Fine Staton; son, Hoyt Todd Gray; daughter, Jennifer Gray; grandchildren, Hoyt Tyler Gray, former daughter-in-law, Amy Burchette; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Monday, February 2, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Fine officiating. Entombment will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday prior to funeral service.
