He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie L. and Lola Johnson Franklin. A funeral service for Mr. Franklin will be held Friday, April 24, 2009, 2 PM, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, April 23, from 6-8 PM.
