Millsaps Kirby, age 82 of Maryville, my dear wife, our loving mother, has taken her journey to her glorious Heavenly Home, Thursday, January 13, 2011, at her home. She was a member of Friendsville First Baptist Church and Business Womens Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Annie O’Neal Millsaps; brothers, Austin Millsaps, Joe Gilbert Millsaps, Earl Millsaps; infant sister; sisters, Eva Frank, Kathleen Cummings, Johnnie Mae Richardson, Verna Winstead. Survivors include her husband, Wilford Kirby; children, Pat “Diane” and Charles Bailey, Steve and Judy Kirby, Sherrie and Jim Nicholson; grandchildren, Mike Boring, Kim Murphy, Amber Medders and husband Rich, Lindsey Russell and husband Jarrod, Shane, Nicholas, Kristen Bailey; great grandchildren, Brayden, Ian, Caylor, Talisha, Tabitha, Tabrina, Colt; great great grandchildren, Covin, Caige, Caylix Taeton, Ason, McKenna; sisters-in-law, Rowena Long, and Charlotte Millsaps; brother-in-law, John Long; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A special thanks to U. T. Hospice, Frances and Angela, Pastor Ron, and Preacher Robinson, Friendsville First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
