Whitehead, Mary Margaret Pryor, a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, walked into Heaven on Thursday, April 16, 2009. Mary Margaret was born in Almyra, Arkansas. Mary Margaret loved living life to the fullest and enjoyed each day she was given. She enjoyed family gatherings and visits with friends and relatives. As a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church, she loved Jesus, music, and her 5 year old Department Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Billy Ronald and Jerry Donald Whitehead; beloved father and mother, George H. and Nellie Edith McCroskie Pryor; sister, Estalee; brothers, Lester and Bill; great-grandson, Taylor Blake Whitehead. Mary Margaret was a loving wife and devoted mother who gave unconditional love. Survivors She will be missed by her husband of 68 years, Roy Lillard Whitehead; son, Gerald Whitehead; daughter-in-law Linda Whitehead; granddaughter, Amy Wilcox and husband John; grandson Greg Whitehead and wife, Anita; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Jackson, and Grayson; special friend Jake Bowling; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their love and appreciation to the staff and employees of Norris Health and Rehabilitation Center and Amedisys Hospice who cared for Mary. She enjoyed their care and love.
