He was a talented guitar player and loved music and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Jean Hayes-Isom; father, Wayne C. Kirk; and grandparents, J.D. and Georgie M. Reed. Survivors include daughters, Georgette Kirk, Saprina Correll, and Stephanie Swayney; brothers, Danny Kirk and wife Glenda, Mark Nichols, and Harold Nichols, Jr.; sisters, Kaye Swayney, Tina Pickell and husband David, Kimmy Kirk, and Denise Kirk; aunt, Billie Faye Miller; adopted aunt, Linda Kirk; grandkids, Blake Ervin, Elyssa Johnson, Jessica and Daisy Payne, and Drew and Kendal Correll; nieces and nephews, Kayla Swayney, Eric Nichols, Kim Kirk, and April Kirk; cousins, Carolyn Johnson, Brenda Presley, and Samuel Miller; and special friend, Eric Johnson. Special thanks to the Blount Hospice Team. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Bishop Richard Udy officiating. Interment service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Old Chilhowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
