He was of the Methodist faith, a veteran of the United States Air Force, retired from the Carrier Corp. where he was a warehouse manager. Preceded in death by parents, James A. & Verna Thompson Kerbo. Survivors: wife, Elizabeth Smith Kerbo of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel C. & Lesa Kerbo of Knoxville; brother, Loyd E. Kerbo of Knoxville. Service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. Interment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Ministers Van Sanks & Bill Akers officiating. Pallbearers: Jack Jones, Donald Jones, Gary Jones, Tommy Simpson, Sherman Gorman, Eddie Smith, Richard Gorman, Stanly Kerbo, Stacy Smith, Tracy Smith.
