CHITTUM, BONNIE ALBERTA "BUTLER" - age 87 of Maynardville went to be with her Lord on Tuesday February 1, 2011. She was a member of Milan Baptist Church, Maynardville. She joined her late husband Robert Chittum, parents John and Myrtle Butler, brother James Butler, grandsons Gary Alfrey and Dustin Chittum, and son-in-law Leroy Alfrey to rejoice in Heaven. Bonnie is survived by her nine children, Jeanette (Edgar) Hunley, Ronnie Chittum, Sue (John) Henderson, Kenny (Diane) Chittum, Terry (Cheryl) Chittum, Jack (Pam) Chittum, Cathy (Terry) Buck, Donna (Phil) Boggs and Tony Chittum; sister, Imogene Simmons. She also has 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Thursday February 3, 2011 at Milan Baptist Church with a celebration of life to follow at 8 pm the Rev. Michael Viles, II officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:15 pm Friday at Byrd's Mortuary to proceed to Milan Baptist Church Cemetery for a 3 pm graveside service.
