CHARLESTON, S.C. - Sara Louise Jarrett, 86, died Friday, April 5, 2002, in a Charleston nursing center. Ms. Jarrett was born in Asheville to the late James Nelson and Sadie Jenning Goode. She was a graduate of Duke University and a retired registered nurse from the Veterans Hospital of Charleston. Ms. Jarrett will be dearly missed by her friend, Delores Morris, and her church family at Grace United Methodist Church. The graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville with the Rev. H.D. Houck officiating. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1601 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407. The memorial register is available at "Funerals Scheduled" at Groce Funeral Home.
