McFARLAND, MILDRED LEWIS - age 82 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Saturday February 11, 2006 at Brakebill Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville. Preceded in death by: parents, Oliver and Mary Lewis and sister, Alberta Daniels. She is survived by: her devoted and loving husband of 61 years, Charles E. McFarland sister, Marie Cowan brother, O.U. Jr. "Jack:" Lewis and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors at Brakebill Nursing Home for their care. Graveside service will be Monday at 3 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Dave Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. 688-2331.
