BYRD, FLOYD ALAN - age 52 of Knoxville, passed away Sat-urday, April 18, 2009 at UT Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by father and mother, Floyd R. and Charlotte M. Byrd. Survivors include: brother, Mark Byrd; sisters, Barbara Byrd, Carol McCann and hus-band Billy, Brenda Glenn and husband Mike; several nieces and nephews; special aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Paul Lester. The family would like to ex-press sincere thanks to the Drs., nurses, and staff of the Medical Critical Care Unit of UT Medical Center for their out-standing care of our loved one. Memorial service will be Satur-day, April 25, 2009 at Midway Baptist Church at 4 PM with Buddy Garland and Paul Lester officiating. There will be a fel-lowship gathering to follow the service.
