Lloyd (Burnette) Gregg, age 53, of Newport, passed away, Thursday, March 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther (Diggem) Gregg; grandparents, James and Edna Leota Worex Sane, Carter amd Mary Sutherland Gregg; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Steven Huff; two grandchildren, Justin Thomas and Jessie Huff (His little Angle); mother, Margaret Sane Gregg; sisters, Betty Pritchett, Indiana, Susie Gregg, Newport; brother, Steve Gregg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hugh and Ellie Gregg, Newport, Luther, Jr. and Nadean Gregg, Temple, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Gary Valentine, Cosby, Darlene and Homer Wise, Bybee, Hazel and Lamon Templin, Dandridge, Bobbie Dunn and Larry Rimmer, Dandridge; special nephews and niece, Tim and Cristi Gregg, Eric Turner; also other nieces and nephews; special friend and Pastor Stacy McGill and his church family; and all his extended family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Stacy McGill officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Friday and Saturday at Manes Funeral Home.
