Hatcher-Long engagement
Leah Nicole Hatcher, daughter of Michael and Amy Hatcher, of Maryville, is engaged to marry James Boyd Long III, son of James II and Mitzi Long, of Maryville, at 3 p.m. March 28 at First Baptist Church, Maryville. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Tilda and Cecil Hatcher, of Maryville, Chris Nicely, of Maryville, and the late Julius Nicely.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of J.B. Long, of Maryville, and Wanda and Lowell Ridings Jr., of Louisville.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Heritage High School. She is a full-time student at the University of Tennessee.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Heritage High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in history. He is a police officer with the Maryville Police Department.
