HURLEY, VALERIE LEANN - age 25 of Knoxville passed away March 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Valerie was a graduate of Gibbs High School and worked for Knoxville Zoo. Preceded in death by great-grandmother Mildred Turner; granny Iva Hurley; papaw Dallas Hurley and cousin Lee Pack. Survived by parents Darrell and Teresa Hurley; brothers, Darrell Jr., Joshua and wife Jessica, and Christopher and sister Casey Hall; special nephews Nathan and Tyler Hurley; grandparents Wanda and Jesse Lawhorn and Darryl Nicely; and great-grandfather Wilburn Turner; and special friend Ashley Tucker and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family will be receiving friends Friday, 6-8 P.M. March 6, 2009 at Weaver Funeral Home with 8 pm service to follow. Family will meet at 12:30pm Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Weavers for a 1pm graveside service at New Grey Cemetery. Reverend David Cloud will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Willie Lattimore, Brian Becker, Dustin Thomas, Christopher Juday, Brandon Dyer, and Travis Johnson.
