(Red) Ottinger, age 63, of Morristown, died Thursday, March 18, in Jacksonville, Florida as a result of an automobile accident. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and retired from B.A.S.F. He was preceded in death by his parents, Greer and Mildred Ottinger; brothers, Tobe, Willis, and Hugh Ottinger, of Parrottsville, and Charlie Ottinger, of Chestnut Hill. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Beth Ottinger, of Morristown; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Joan and Paul Combs, of Rutledge; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Sharon Ottinger, of Parrottsville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennie Humphreys officiating and entombment in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
