(May 27, 1948 - March 15, 2006) Jay B. Daniels age 57 of Newport passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at his work. He is survived by his wife,; Bernice Daniels; mother, Hattie Daniels; brother, Benny Daniels; sister,: Gail Daniels; daughters and sons in laws, Robin and Spanky Keller, Cindy and Randy Schoolcraft; three grandchildren; six step grandchildren;, two great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one very special grandchild, Makayla Keller all of Newport; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Manes Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Roy (Tiger) Gullett and Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral service at Manes Funeral Home.
