MARTIN, RONNIE T. "PA PAW" - age 71 of Corryton went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday February 28, 2009 at St Mary's Medical Center after fighting a good fight for 25 years and keeping the faith. He was a member of Corryton Church, a retired Security Officer with TVA at Cherokee Dam, Veteran of the US Army, former owner of Four Seasons Florist, preceded in death by parents: Maxwell "Burp" and Mildred Martin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andrew and Gladys Currington. Ronnie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Judy Currington Martin; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Leisa Martin, Bill and Debbie Martin, Chris and Cathy Martin; grandchildren, Shaun and Amanda, Jonathan and Maegan, Chelesa, Kayla, Brooke, Beth and LeeAnn Martin, Drew Akins; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vicky and Danny Clabo; nephews, Tyler and wife Samatha Clabo and Cameron Clabo; and great niece, Alyssa Clabo. Special thanks to all his medical staff who provided his care in both Knoxville and Nashville for over 25 years. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Corryton Church 7615 Foster Rd Corryton, TN with funeral service at 8:00 P.M. with Dr. Rocky Ramsey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery 10:45 A.M. Tuesday for interment at 11:00 A.M. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Anderson, Gary Green, R.C. Harless, Morris Zachary, Franklin "Buggs" Boruff.
