YALKUT, SANDRA WITT - 61, of 3716 Salisbury Drive, Lexington, Ky., died Tuesday, at her home, A native of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Paul and Nita Evelyn McDannel Witt. She was an active member of the Pisgah Presbyterian Church, Versailles, Ky., and had been active with the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Fikret T. Yalkut; four sons, Tony Yalkut, Indianapolis, Ind., Jim Yalkut and Erol Yalkut, both of Lexington, Denis Yalkut M.D., Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Marjorie (Mrs. John H.) Smart, Cummings, Ga., Joan (Mrs. John H.) Harte, Atlanta, Ga.; and a brother and sister in law, Gordon and Mary Witt, Strawberry Plains, Tenn. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday October 6, at the Pisgah Presbyterian Church, Versailles, Ky., with Rev. Mike Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Pisgah Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Yalkut's sons, her brother, and a nephew, Randy Witt. Memorials are suggested to the Pisgah Presbyterian Church, Pisgah Pike, Versailles, Ky. 40383. The Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Versailles, Ky. is in charge of arrangements.
