Zackary Jon Murphy-Sheridan, age 12 of Maryville passed away peaceably Thursday, September 13, 2007 at East TN Children's Hospital with his family by his side. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a student of William Blount Middle School. He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Audrey J. McNeilly. Survivors include his mother and step-father: Michelle Murphy and Ben Kagley; father: Chip Sheridan; grandparents: Chris McNeilly, and Ed and Janet Sheridan; brother: Josh Murphy; sister: Harley Murphy; great-grandparents: Billy and Edwina George; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of friends. A memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Maryville with Pastor Charles Huskey officiating. Everyone will meet 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
