Stinnett-McCarter engagement
Michelle Lynn Stinnett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Stinnett and Linda Houston, all of Maryville, is engaged to marry Travis Channing McCarter, son of Leander and Dena McCarter, of Friendsville, at 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at Marble Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Bob and Dora Stinnett, of Maryville, and Jane Sayne, of Maryville.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Stanley and Brenda McCall, of Friendsville, Larry and Joyce Breeden, of Louisville, and the late Calvin John McCarter.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Berea College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of William Blount High School. He works at Airport Honda.
