Survived by loving wife, Nita Brown; children, Judd Brown and Meghaan Brown; stepchildren, Steve and Donnie Carmon and Michael Renville, all of Oklahoma; sisters and brothers and their spouses, Sandra Carter of Maryville, Lynda and Harold Purkey of Friendsville, Robert and Judy Brown of Georgia and Fred and Glenda Brown of Maryville; several nephews and nieces. Services were held Jan. 21, 2009, in Oklahoma.
