Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
Gamble Jr., Alfred Eugene “Al” age 46 of Maryville, formerly of Irving, Texas, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe H. Gamble and Mr. & Mrs. Roy B. Stapleton. Survivors include his parents, Alfred E. “Dick” Gamble Sr. & Jacqueline Gamble of Maryville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Deborah Ross of TX, Donna Gamble & Darrell Swaggerty of FL, Dolores & Steve Myers of GA, Jennifer & Richard Brown of Gatlinburg and Katherine “Kay” Gamble of Louisville; 11 nieces & nephews; 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew; special friends, Doug Owenby and Larry Keith. Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2007 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Jim Lawhorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
