Proudly served in the US Army and is a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Lon and Reva Ricketts; and sister Myra Romines. Survived by devoted wife of 40 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Sabrina Saunders and precious grandchildren, Abbagale and Lonnie; sister, Mary Hartsook and husband, Ron; brother, Gerald Ricketts and wife, Rebecca; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church.
