Bobby Eugene Hiatt, 67, of 1607 S. Norwood Court died Dec. 25, 2002. He was born in Winston-Salem on May 11, 1935, a son to the Claude Hiatt and Ollie Mae Romanger Hiatt. He was married on Feb. 19, 1956, to Geraldine McGaha Hiatt. He was a retired truck driver for Spartan Express and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Dale Hiatt and a brother, Jimmy Hiatt. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Deborah Coltrane and husband, William, of Archdale; and grandson, Brandon Eugene Coltrane. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Services of High Point by Jim Jenkins and the Rev. Harold Shives. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times the residence.
